The registration deadline for all the participants of the King Salman World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2019, is at 23.59 GMT on 11th of December, 2019.
Accreditation will take place on 26th of December from 13.00 to 14.30.
Late registration is accepted till 23.59 GMT on 22nd of December 2019.
RAPID AND BLITZ CHAMPIONSHIPS' PARTICIPANTS
Registration fee payment in amount of 100 USD (one payment for both championships) in open competition should be done before 11th of December 2019.
The late registrations for open competition will be accepted till 22nd of December 2019, and will cost 200 USD.
Registration fee payment in amount of 50 USD (one payment for both championships) in women competition should be done before 11th of December 2019.
The late registrations for women competition will be accepted till 22nd of December 2019, and will cost 100 USD.
Registration fee payment is mandatory for all players.

Payment can be done by an individual player as well as by the National Federation as per the invoice.

Citizens of the Russian Federation shall pay the entry fee in Russian Rubles at the exchange rate of the Bank of Russia on the day of payment.
Please note that any national champions for the current year (2019) have to provide proof of their title via their national federation.
In order to be accredited as a participant, an official letter must be sent from his/her national federation to the official representative of the Chess Federation of Russia, Artem Pugachev, to the email pugachev@ruchess.ru.
Players rated at least 2750 in the open event and 2500 in the women's event in any of the FIDE rating lists (Standard, Rapid or Blitz) from January 1st to December 1st 2019, will be provided full board accommodation in a standard room (4-star hotel minimum) from December 25th to 31st 2019.
RAPID: Swiss system, 15 rounds in the open event and 12 rounds in the women's event. Time control: 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment per move, starting from move 1.
BLITZ: Swiss system, 21 rounds in the open event and 17 rounds in the women's event. Time control: 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment per move, starting from move 1.

- If you are eligible to participate in King Salman World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships 2019 you may proceed with registration.
- Registration is open to all. Only eligible participants will be accredited for the championships according to the regulations rules.
- Please choose the EVENT from scroll down menu you would like to participate.
- If you want to participate both in Rapid and Blitz, please make two registration entries.
- Please read the regulations here before starting to register to know the requirements to be eligible.
- The Reigning National Champions 2019 should send a prove of their title via their National Federations to pugachev@ruchess.ru in order to be accredited.
